- Pandora- The first thing I do when I sit down at my desk in my office is turn on Pandora, usually Chris Cagle or Jason Aldean. I do like to mix it up with a little matchbox 20 or Maroon 5 here and there for some spice.
- Dunkin Donuts Cinnamon Spice coffee-- this is my favorite to drink after getting done running outside in the mornings. However; i am only a cold weather coffee drinker. When summer hits- I'm done and over that stuff.
- Nike running shorts-- Wear them every morning to work out. And every night to train clients at the gym. I would be lost without these things!
- Almond slivers-- I put these things in oatmeal and yogurt. LOVE them.. or I eat them out of the freezer by thereselves. They are kind of expensive- but so worth it.
- Exercise--I am addicted. there I said it. Whether its running or attending bootcamp, one of the two happen nearly everyday.

a few favorite things
I have come to realize that I love to live my life in a routine of the same activities. Such as listening to the same type of music over and over, eating the same things for lunch and breakfast over and over, wearing the same clothes week after week. I think that all these things are normal, and I kinda like it that way. Here are are few of my current favorite items that help me make it through each day!
I was first introduced to pinterest a couple of months ago. I went on a craze over it for about 2-3 weeks. Now my craze is over. I do like to get on there for a good laugh at some stuff and also words/quotes of encouragement.
One pin that has really stuck with me was "What screws us up most in life is the picture in our head of how its supposed to be."
hmm.. yea. Don't we all want to have the fairytale lifestyle we had imagined in our heads in elementary school! Green grass, birds chirping, sunny skies, homeade apple pie awaiting us, trustworthy friendships, consistant healthy weight, loving spouse, well-behaved children, rewarding career, giant house, swimming pool & water slide, debt-free, and money growing on trees!!!
*see how i started out with the most uncontrolled by us happiness & then went to the deeper more serious matters? I guess this is how I see the stair step life of mine going. hmmm. weird.
Anyway- not sure where I am really going with this, but the things at the beginning are the one's I need to learn to appreciate the most. The small things. And then the bigger things are going to fall into place when they are supposed to. Which leads me to one more quote, from pinterest!
"when everything seems like its falling apart thats when God is putting things together just they way he wants it."
end.of.story. :)

things that describe me
Blogging....When I decided I wanted to start a blog, I learned that I already had an account on blogger.com that I totally forgot that I had. hmmm. that was a nice surprise. Seems that in December of 2009 I was going to be super blogger. Wow, how things have "slightly" changed since then for me. Here are a couple things that I feel consume most of my time and would roughly describe me.
- I am known as the "runner" girl to everyone. By this I mean, people who I only talk to maybe once a month, stop by my office and ask me if I am still running. Yes- this has happened 3 times already this week. This makes me laugh inside. Only because I used to think running was the worst punishment ever.
- I have worked at Rose Creek for over 6 years. Wow. How my personality and view on life has changed over the years. I told my great friend and co-worker Tyka today that I feel like I have been here longer than all my years at Laverne Schools, but I really haven't. Tyka has worked at Rose Creek 4 years, and pretty sure that neither of us would change our experiences, friendships, and tip $$ for anything. (well...... .. maybe)
- I personal train people. People ask me how all that works. Really, its pretty cut & dry. I come up with exercises on the spot for clients. Their workout lasts 30 minutes. While standing there (while my clients are sweating and breathing heavy) I encourage, count reps, and laugh with them. And then I answer all questions on why differents parts of their body hurt and how to lose weight! I love it... My favorite part of personal training is the conversations about the healthy lifestyle I have with my clients and then to see them acheive their goals!
- I bought my first house last year. Whoa.. How things are different. This has been one of my big steps to official "grown-up" status. Surprisingly, things have went very smooth. No major things broken, stolen, or utilities shut-off.
- I am an aunt! Its just now really sinking in that my younger and only sister and her husband have a child. His name is Easton Hayes Royal. Crazy enough, I want to hold him all the time. Well. I like to hold him (right when I get to see him) for about 15 minutes and then I am done. Now, me trying to burp him after feeding him, is a my biggest weakness as aunt. yikes....
Until next Time..
