Blogging....When I decided I wanted to start a blog, I learned that I already had an account on blogger.com that I totally forgot that I had. hmmm. that was a nice surprise. Seems that in December of 2009 I was going to be super blogger. Wow, how things have "slightly" changed since then for me. Here are a couple things that I feel consume most of my time and would roughly describe me.
- I am known as the "runner" girl to everyone. By this I mean, people who I only talk to maybe once a month, stop by my office and ask me if I am still running. Yes- this has happened 3 times already this week. This makes me laugh inside. Only because I used to think running was the worst punishment ever.
- I have worked at Rose Creek for over 6 years. Wow. How my personality and view on life has changed over the years. I told my great friend and co-worker Tyka today that I feel like I have been here longer than all my years at Laverne Schools, but I really haven't. Tyka has worked at Rose Creek 4 years, and pretty sure that neither of us would change our experiences, friendships, and tip $$ for anything. (well...... .. maybe)
- I personal train people. People ask me how all that works. Really, its pretty cut & dry. I come up with exercises on the spot for clients. Their workout lasts 30 minutes. While standing there (while my clients are sweating and breathing heavy) I encourage, count reps, and laugh with them. And then I answer all questions on why differents parts of their body hurt and how to lose weight! I love it... My favorite part of personal training is the conversations about the healthy lifestyle I have with my clients and then to see them acheive their goals!
- I bought my first house last year. Whoa.. How things are different. This has been one of my big steps to official "grown-up" status. Surprisingly, things have went very smooth. No major things broken, stolen, or utilities shut-off.
- I am an aunt! Its just now really sinking in that my younger and only sister and her husband have a child. His name is Easton Hayes Royal. Crazy enough, I want to hold him all the time. Well. I like to hold him (right when I get to see him) for about 15 minutes and then I am done. Now, me trying to burp him after feeding him, is a my biggest weakness as aunt. yikes....
Until next Time..
HH
